In 2010, I made my first piece of merch: a black tee with “Laugh” in green letters. No punchlines, no gimmicks—just something cool that said this is my show without shouting it.
Then my friend Amy had an idea: “Ask your fans to take the shirt on their trips and send you pictures.” I laughed and said, “Nobody’s gonna do that.” Turns out, everybody did.
Over the years, I’ve gotten photos from beaches, mountaintops, bustling city streets—even Antarctica. And with the design changing every year, I can tell exactly when you saw my show based on the shirt you’re wearing.
Each photo tells a story, and each story is part of a community that’s been growing for over a decade.
